How long does it take before athletes notice a difference?
Athletes usually take something usable out of the first session, because the tools are designed to be applied immediately rather than understood theoretically. Breathing techniques and early dumping strategies tend to show up in training within a week. The awareness piece often lands even faster, as athletes recognise patterns they have been living with for years without naming.
Genuine, durable change is a different question and it takes a season rather than a session. This is deliberate. Our SImple principle means mindset work is introduced gradually across a number of sessions rather than dumped on a group in a single motivational hit. Athletes need to try a tool under real match conditions, have it not quite work, refine it and try again. That cycle is what embeds the skill.
The variable that matters most is not time, it is rehearsal. Groups that treat the mental tools the way they treat a skill drill move quickly. Groups that only think about it when we are in the room move slowly, which is exactly why accountability is one of our four principles.
