What does a season-long Performance Mindset Program involve?
A season-long program is where we see the deepest impact, because building a performance mindset is not a one-off talk. It is a deliberate process, integrated slowly and systematically so the changes are real and lasting.
The program is built from a series of building blocks, sequenced and customised to your group.
- Emotions and emotional state management. Athletes learn how their feelings drive their behaviour, build genuine emotional self-awareness, and identify their own peak-performance and derailing states.
- Building the team's emotional culture. Using the Emotional Culture Deck, the group explores how they want to feel in order to succeed and the behaviours that create those conditions.
- Anti-fragility and building a resourceful state. Athletes learn to spot the very first trigger that moves them into an unhelpful state and how to interrupt the pattern in the moment.
- Your resourceful state. Using the Circle of Performance technique, each athlete creates and rehearses a personal anchor they can deliberately step into.
- Dumping strategies. A structured way to clear the mental clutter and return to the next moment with clarity.
- What now? The program draws everything together, helping athletes refine their tools based on real match experience and commit to the changes they will carry forward.
Between sessions the work continues, because reinforcement under real training and match conditions is what separates a program that sticks from one that was enjoyable at the time.
